Claiming the promises found in her favorite text Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy path," Denise Cooper-Johnson fulfills her roles as women's ministries director and shepherdess coordinator of the Atlantic Caribbean Union by trusting God.

Born in Nassau, Bahamas, Denise is a registered nurse by profession, having worked in the Bahamas and the Cayman Islands. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Services and a master's degree in Counseling.

Marrying her best friend, Pastor Leonard Johnson on January 1, 1984, has been a joy and a blessing as together they minister in fulfilling the mandate of Jesus to reach and touch people with the love of God. She and her husband are blessed with two adult children, Larnelle and Darnell; a daughter-in-law, Ivy; and a grandson, Ike.

She loves traveling, reading, and family time. She also currently works at Bahamas Academy as a guidance counselor.
The women’s ministries department exists to help women deepen their relationship with Jesus and to nurture their gifts and skills for the purpose of sharing Christ in the homes, churches, and communities of the Atlantic Caribbean Union.
